A short call about which weeks are empty, what falls inside them, and what the last day would need to leave behind. One sentence is enough to begin.
There is nothing to prepare. Whether somebody resigned this morning or the chair has been empty since the summer, that is plenty to start from.
We would go through what falls inside the weeks, what can safely wait for the permanent hire, what the last day would have to show, and what it would cost. If the real need turns out to be a report only a credentialed firm can sign, you would hear that on this call.
You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice.
With no grid on this page, the footer number reaches the desk that names an end date before it names a person.
Covering empty weeks is ordinary work, and a temporary chair does not come with a CPA credential. This desk has none. A firm that holds one still signs audits, reviews and assurance opinions, even in the middle of a gap, and if one falls inside your weeks you will hear that on the first call while the ordinary weeks carry on closing. Every part of that is set out on the disclosures page.
