Banks do not check whether your finance chair is full before they ask for numbers. When a review lands inside the empty weeks the question is what can honestly be produced, and who is going to say so.
The worst version of this is silence followed by a late and thin pack. Bankers deal with staff changes constantly and they are far more forgiving of a warning than of a surprise.
A short note saying the finance seat is covered, with a date for the pack, buys more goodwill than anything you could put inside the pack itself.
Closed months that tie to the bank. A balance sheet and a profit page that agree with the record. The filings up to date. Covenant calculations worked from those numbers with the workings shown rather than asserted.
That covers most of what a review actually asks for, and none of it depends on the chair being permanently filled.
If the bank wants statements with an opinion attached, that comes from a firm holding the credential and it will not be signed here. An empty chair changes nothing about that.
Far better said in the first conversation than after a pack has been promised.
Most reviews turn on one or two ratios. Working those out early in the gap tells you whether this is a routine submission or a conversation you need to prepare for, and it is a short piece of work either way.
A pack built from closed months, the covenant workings shown line by line, and a plain note on anything the empty weeks affected.
Shape only above. No figure from a real review is printed anywhere here.
Covering empty weeks is ordinary work, and a temporary chair does not come with a CPA credential. This desk has none. A firm that holds one still signs audits, reviews and assurance opinions, even in the middle of a gap, and if one falls inside your weeks you will hear that on the first call while the ordinary weeks carry on closing. Every part of that is set out on the disclosures page.

Producing the numbers is ordinary work that a covering desk does without drama. Reading them before the bank does, and knowing which line will draw a question, is the part an empty chair usually loses.
Breadth is having the close, the filings and the return understood at one desk, so the pack agrees with itself before anybody outside sees it. Height is seeing the covenant coming and deciding what to say about it ahead of the meeting instead of during it.
I needed somebody to produce the pack. What I wanted was somebody to read it before the bank did.
You will be talking to the Steven Palmieri practice. A sentence about the gap span is enough to start.
